Measured Drawings and As-Built Drawings

Any project where we are planning to renovate or add-on will need a set of measured drawings to use as our underlay. These are often called “as-built drawings” as they capture the space as it exists now. For a typical home renovation project, these are not comprehensive — capturing every outlet or duct run — but contain enough information to accurately create a new design over them. You can also use these drawings for your own space-planning needs – accurately sketching layouts and furniture placements over the top.

Having a set of these drawings can give your project a jump-start if you are planning to engage an architect or contractor in your next steps. Start off your project with us with an on-site consultation or just drop us a line through the contact form. We also happily work with architects and contractors to create detailed and accurate “as-built drawings” for their client projects.
